The 2019 Geology Board Examinations has come to an end, and my friends wanted to unwind after a stressful three-day exam. Grace suggested that we should check out Samgyeopmasarap – one of the newly opened shops in SM North EDSA’s Lifestyle Center. This is a first-time experience for me and ended up feeling satisfied as pork and chicken flooded our table.

I decided to visit him last October 13, 2019, and gathered ideas on how I should present my study.

I immediately purchased one voucher and asked my best friend, Aljhon, if he wanted to join. This will be the first time that I will eat at Gumbo, and hopefully, the experience will be worth it.

2019 Geology Board Examination Preparation: The Road Trip from Bicol to Manila

UP Diliman offers a three-month review session for students who will take the Geology Board Exam. My friends paid P5,000 for the review session, and today, we are heading to Quezon City to search for an affordable boarding house where they will stay until October. We had to wake up early in the morning so we can reach Metro Manila by three or four in the afternoon (since Bicol and Metro Manila are ten to twelve hours apart).

Rainy Weekend Getaway in Baguio City

My sister, PM, has never been to Baguio City. My Dad decided to take us there for the weekend, and I was so excited since this will be my first time traveling to Baguio City with my family. I’ve been there with my friends several times, but going on a road trip with your family feels different.

The Windmills of Pililla and the Natural Beauty of Tanay

It’s my sister’s 24th birthday - and just like last year, the whole family’s going on an out of town trip. We decided to travel further east, visiting the windmills in the town of Pilillia and Daranak Falls in Tanay. We also had a stopover at Cafe Katarina, a well-reviewed restaurant on the mountaintops serving festive Filipino food.

Celebrating Shery's 20th Birthday at Port Alfred

Port Alfred is one of the largest resorts in Partido. The resort has a towering slide, and I’ve always wanted to visit the place. Shery, one of my classmates in PSU, told me the night before that she will be having an advanced birthday celebration today at Port Alfred. She invited us to go there tomorrow morning, a couple of hours before I leave Goa for Manila because of my Summer OJT.
